Fans of "Game of Thrones" are aching for any hint about Season 8, which is still a long way away from premiering.

Since the show is now further along in the story of Westeros than the books, there cannot be any speculation from fans about how the show might end.

Of course, HBO is very secretive about their plans for the conclusive season, but Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei in the show, told Metro.co.uk about her approval of the final season and its script.

The ending will not be rushed

Emmanuel eased concerns about the upcoming season, which will only feature six episodes, the fewest of all eight seasons.

Without the books to use as a reference, several fans were worried about David Benioff and D. B. Weiss' ability to write a captivating and fitting ending to the show.

Emmanuel stated that there were no wasted hours on the show and that the deficit in episodes will not affect the overall quality of the show and its conclusion. She expressed confidence in the capabilities of the showrunners. She emphasized that the watchers of the show will not be left hanging and will love the conclusive season.

It will be incredibly emotional

Emmanuel also reflected on the effect that the final table read had on the cast and emphasized just how stirring it was. After joining the show in 2013, Emmanuel has been a constant presence in Daenerys Targaryen's story arc.

Some actors, like Emilia Clarke, Kit Harrington, and Peter Dinklage, have been a part of the TV show since 2011. Even HBO executives have commented on how moving the finale will be after reading it.

What to expect

Regarding Missandei, her character is currently in Westeros with Daenerys. While she has shown fierce loyalty to her queen, a scene from the latest season has left fans wondering if a conversation with Ser Davos Seaworth has shaken her trust in the Dragon Queen.

Even though Emmanuel confirmed that "Game of Thrones" will come to a fantastic ending, some fans are not quite ready to let go of Westeros. Luckily, HBO has confirmed plans for five prequel series to air after they have completed production of the eighth season of "Game of Thrones." There have not been any air dates released yet for these prequels, but that just means that all the focus is on giving fans the perfect ending to the original show.

These series have been specified as prequels, so expect the show to come to a very decisive and concise ending. "Game of Thrones" is also the first HBO show to earn a spin-off series immediately after ending.

With Emmanuel's assurance, fans are even more excited for the last season of "Game of Thrones."
