Farrah Abraham went public with her boyfriend, stuntman Aden Stay, on March 2 and around the same time, her former boyfriend, Simon Saran, weighed in on the relationship. During a new interview, Saran, who split from Abraham last year due to her proposal demands, said that while he was happy for his ex, he suspected she was dating Stay not for love, but for money.

“Good for her,” Simon Saran told The Ashley's Reality Roundup of her new romance. “She needs an older man in her life," he explained. Then, he seemingly took aim at the relationship, saying, "She needs the financial support from him.

Guys like that are more willing to give [that].” Although it is unclear why Abraham would be in need of “financial support,” Saran may have been referring to her recent firing from the show that made her famous, "Teen Mom OG."

“I wish them the best,” he added.

Farrah Abraham hinted at a Simon Saran reunion last year

After their sudden split in early 2017, Abraham and Saran frequently sparked rumors of a reconciliation by taking a number of vacations together. As fans may recall, Abraham and Saran celebrated her birthday in Jamaica last year before traveling to Sin City to celebrate the birthday of a friend. The former couple then turned up together in Greece and again, fans wondered if they were giving their romance another shot.

Abraham and Saran dated for two years and some of their relationship was seen playing out on "Teen Mom OG." Other moments, even online spats, played out on the couple's Twitter pages throughout the end of last year.

Farrah Abraham isn't allowed to talk to Simon Saran

Months after returning home from a summer trip to Greece, Farrah Abraham spoke to E!

News and revealed that her daughter, nine-year-old Sophia Abraham, was no longer allowing her to communicate with Simon Saran. "I would say I'm cordial with [Simon Saran] but I'm not allowed to talk to him because Sophia doesn't like him," she explained.

Abraham gained fame after welcoming Sophia while filming "16 and Pregnant" in 2009 and began appearing on "Teen Mom" years later.

Since then, she has been starring on "Teen Mom OG" alongside Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout. However, when the show returns for its eighth season later this year or early next year, Abraham will be absent and another reality star could be seen in her place.

"Teen Mom OG" Season 7 is currently airing on MTV on Mondays at 9 PM.
