"The Real Housewives of orange county" reality star kelly dodd is finally divorced from husband, Michael Dodd. E! News reports that Dodd's attorney confirmed that their divorce has been finalized. The court judgement was entered on February 23rd and has finally been processed through the courts. Dodd is a single woman once again.

The couple's rocky marriage has been on display during the most recent seasons of The Bravo hit show. So when Dodd took to her Twitter page back in September 2017 to announce their separation fans of the show were not very surprised. Dodd has been hinting at leaving her husband since she joined the cast in season 11.

The problems have been ongoing

The couple even separated once before in 2012, which caused a stir on the show over whether it was due to an affair Dodd had with another man. But Dodd stands by her statement that she never cheated. That said, Dodd also suspected that her husband was having an affair with a younger woman. None of this was ever confirmed.

According to Radar Online, Dodd even begged the courts to "speed up" the divorce process. It is safe to say she is officially over it. The hope is to remain civil throughout this process for the sake of their 11-year-old daughter, Jolie.

Orange County drama

But it appears that issues regarding Dodd's ex will be ongoing during the upcoming "Real Housewives of Orange County" season.

It seems like Vicki Gunvalson (the OG of the OC) betrayed her closest friend and ally on the show (Dodd) by recently hooking up Dodd's newly single husband with a friend of hers during a trip to Las Vegas. Gunvalson claims that the hook-up happened "organically," but Dodd is not buying it, as she reportedly went crazy and wants to move on from her friendship with Gunvalson.

New friendships

It is a good thing that Dodd made up with her other co-stars last season, including Tamara Judge and Shannon Beador. Fans are assuming that Dodd and Beador will bond even further this season over both of their newly single lives. They now have a common bond.

Beador also had a very messy split with her husband, David Beador, as of late.

She even announced their separation during the season 12 "Real Housewives of Orange County" reunion show, shocking many of her cast mates. She is also struggling through a public custody battle.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" is currently filming season 13 which is expected later this year on Bravo.
