Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed their third child earlier this year. The baby has been photographed before, but this is the first time the two-month-old Chicago West has been photographed close up without filters. Kim posted the photo on Instagram and fans are loving it. The baby is seen wearing a pink onesie with a white trim and a pink bib.

Chicago's 37-year-old mother captioned the photo of her new baby with two words: "Morning cutie" along with a little red heart. The photo is a cute photo, but this is not the first photo seen of the baby.

The baby was first posted on social media on February 26, but it had a filter of pink teddy bear ears. In the most recent photo, she is clearly seen without any filter at all.

The baby's birth

The baby was born via surrogate on January 15, 2018, at 12:47 a.m. PT. She weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz. and was named "Chicago" after the city that Kanye loves so much because that's where he grew up. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" reality star said she would have preferred to carry Chicago herself. She suffered from a placenta accreta during the births of four-year-old North and two-year-old Saint.

Therefore, her doctor advised her against getting pregnant again. Since Kim and Kanye wanted another child, they used a surrogate which worked out well for them.

The identity of the surrogate was a well-kept secret during the entire pregnancy. There were speculations during the entire nine months. Initially, people rumored that it might be Khloe, Kylie, and even Kris Jenner.

Earlier this month, the surrogate appeared on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

She was known only as Lorena and her face was not shown to protect her privacy. Lorena revealed that she has two children of her own. She talked openly about being a surrogate detailing why she decided to become a surrogate for the Wests. She did not say if she would do it again in case they wanted her to do so.

She did say it seemed natural for her to be a surrogate.

Kim's interview

The mother of three is on the cover of April 2018 issue of Elle magazine. In the featured story, Kim said the surrogacy was a good move for her and Kanye and she would recommend it for other couples. During the conversation, she said she doesn't believe she could deal with more than four children. So, that means she might have another baby through surrogacy again. If so, it could be within the next two years if Kim follows her pattern of having her babies close in age.
