The Duggar family are in the headlines yet again, and this time it is for a reason that you may not think was even possible. Recently, Michelle Duggar decided to open up about her Sex Life with her husband Jim-Bob Duggar and many people were rather shocked by what she had to say. If you are familiar with this family, you would know that they usually make the headlines for their very controversial conservative views which many people think are quite sexist among other things.

For example, the women in the ultra-religious family are not supposed to be allowed to wear pants and instead they should wear long skirts.

Michelle Duggar did an interview with Today back in 2014 talking about her and Jim-Bob Duggar’s sex rules, and it had caused quite the public outrage. For instance, in the interview, she was quoted saying “Be available. Anyone can fix him lunch, but only one person can meet that physical need of love that he has, and you always need to be available when he calls.” This angered so many people as Michelle said no matter how you are feeling you should always be ready for sex with your husband as it is your duty as a wife.

Many saw this as quite a misogynistic view as these people thought that sex should be enjoyed by two people and woman shouldn’t have to do it if she doesn’t want to.

Now, the whole Duggar family have been very busy as of recently as their TLC family reality television series “Counting On” just began to air new episodes from its new season.

With the new episodes coming out the family has been very proactive in promoting it. For example, the family recently took a trip down to Australia to promote the series and of course spread their faith as well. Well, it is worth mentioning that when they were there one of the Duggar parents managed to get a speeding ticket and Jim-Bob also made a rather offensive joke about Jana Duggar being single which seemed to anger many fans online.
