There have been rumors going around that Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar Dillard had some issues when their son Samuel was born. They actually never even showed it all on the show "Counting On," which surprised everyone. Now, In Touch Weekly is sharing that Derick Dillard is admitting that his son did have issues and that he is also upset that TLC didn't pay for it.
What did Derick reveal?
Derick Dillard has been responding to people on Twitter. He admitted that their son was in the Nicu for two weeks. There really was a lot of speculation about this, but this is the first time that it has been admitted.
Another thing that Derick had to say was that TLC didn't pay the bill. Not sure why he thinks that is there responsibility at all.
Derick didn't explain the details about why their son was there, though. He is also explaining about the fact that TLC didn't pay their doctor bills. He explained that they asked for them to help pay and that they made a pretty penny of the birth, but didn't pay at all. The thing is this is a bit confusing considering that they didn't show the birth on the show at all. He shared that it took them about a year to pay it off.
Derick tried to say that they could pay for it because he has a great job. He thought since they made money from the birth show, they would help them out.
Derick has been talking a lot on Twitter lately and sometimes he doesn't seem to think before he talks. More than likely, TLC isn't going to be happy that he is talking about all of this on the show either.
Why isn't Derick on the show?
Derick Dillard isn't on the show at all right now because of all of the talk he has been doing on Twitter.
Derick hasn't been quiet lately at all and made a lot of comments about how he doesn't think that Jazz Jennings should be on the channel. Derick hasn't stopped talking about her at all lately and TLC finally cut ties with him.
It is unknown how much Jill Dillard will be seen on the show, though. It really does look like they are cutting back on her presence as well since Derick isn't on there now.
It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. The fans would be surprised if they never see their kids on the show at all.
What do you think of the fact that Jill and Derick kept quiet about this for so long? Do you think that Jill will ever be seen on the show again?
