"Dancing With the Stars" professional dancers Emma Slater and Sasha Farber got married at Bella Blanc in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 25 after being engaged for almost two years. Sasha surprised Emma by proposing to her on a live episode of "Dancing With The Stars" in October 2016. After they danced together, Sasha proposed and put a pink sapphire ring on Emma's finger.

The ceremony

Emma did not walk down the aisle on the typical runner with flower petals. Instead, she walked on top of a hand-painted 50-foot aisle runner that matched the couple's wedding invitations and seat cards.

The couple professed their love for each other in their vows in front of family and friends that included other dancers from the popular ABC dance competition show. Cheryl Burke, former judge Julianne Hough and her husband Brooks Laich, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, and Emma's most recent dance partner Drew Scott were there to witness the happy occasion.

The bride and groom

Emma got married in a long-sleeve white Rivini fitted sheer gown with lace at the top.

Then the 29-year-old bride changed into a second gown by the same designer for the reception. The long flowing skirt made it easier for her to dance.

Sasha wore a white and black tuxedo that was custom made just for him by Onik Design who makes many of the outfits for the professional dancers on "DWTS." Wedding planner Michael Russo said the 33-year-old groom couldn't keep his eyes off of his bride.

The reception

After the ceremony, the guests dined on a variety of foods such as ribeye steak, lamb, smoked salmon, red caviar, and other delicious dishes. The couple couldn’t decide on just one flavor for their wedding cake. Delicious Arts came to their rescue and made a special cake with five flavors that included vanilla bean, carrot, almond, banana, and Valrhona chocolate layers.

The couple could decide on the song they wanted for their first dance, and they chose Ed Sheeran’s 2017 song “Perfect.” The English singer is currently on tour and could not perform the song in person. The Grammy award-winning singer did the next best thing. He recorded a special message for the happy couple.

Emma gave her bridesmaids fuchsia clutch handbags from Gigi New York, while Sasha gave his groomsmen tan leather wallets. Guests who attended received more than a festive time. Everyone there received either a scented candle from Greenleaf or tequila favors from Casamigos.
