Dan and Roseanne as grandparents

The show promises viewers the same old Connor family cast featuring Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Sarah Chalke and Lecy Goranson.

We are finally going to get a look at just how the lives of Dan and Roseanne's grown children have turned out, and what kind of grandparents Dan and Rosie have become.

Roseanne has some explaining to do

Skipping over the death of Dan in the "Roseanne" series finale 20-years ago, a few jokes will be made in the 2018 series opener, touching lightly on the subject, in the normal hilarious Roseanne fashion.

Not only do Dan and Roseanne have all of their children and their significant others to contend with, they have David and Darlene's daughter Harris, who it seems, will be even wilder and more opinionated that Darlene ever thought about being. David and Darlene, though no longer together, also have a son together named Mark.

Mark is described as an adorable 8-year-old named after his uncle, who sometimes wears girls clothing.

As for Becky, she will be facing life on her own, The actor who played her husband Mark (Glenn Quinn) sadly died in real life from an opioid overdose. His absence on the series is reportedly explained as Mark's death possibly in Iraq.

DJ is also a father now and his daughter will add a lot of spice to the series as well.

The family dynamic of the Conners has always offered viewers tons of laughs while touching honestly on the same everyday problems most families deal with, such as family life, the economy, health issues, politics, sex, and possibly even religion.

Times are very different now than they were when the series first began airing and it will fun to see just how the Connors have adapted to the change and how the series will incorporate these lifestyle changes with humor into the reboot.

So far the "Roseanne" reboot will consist of nine episodes, but according to all the hype, it is believed the cast will follow up with more seasons to add to the 2018-2019 television viewing line up.

"Roseanne" returns Tuesday, March 27 at 8 PM. on ABC, will you be tuning in for an evening with the Connor family?
