Back from the past, Winnie The Pooh is making his way onto the big screen in Disney's new movie "Christopher Robin." Winnie the Pool is a fictional character that most people know from the children's books written by A.A. Milne. Most of Winnie the Pooh adventures take place in the Hundred Acre Wood, but now we see what happens when the magic is taken out of the woods

Now many years later we get a look at Christopher's life as a grown up and how his life is without his best friend, Winnie the Pooh. However, in his time of need, he is unexpectedly reunited with Winnie the Pooh and the two set out on an adventure.

This summer, the world will get to see this best friend duo together once again.

Christopher Robin gets a visit from an old friend

Far from the Hundred Acre Wood, Christopher Robin now lives in the real world where he has a family and works a normal job in London. Forced to disappoint his family, Christopher Robin is not able to participate in his family trip as his work required him to stay behind and participate in grown-up responsibilities. Not knowing what to do, he is then surprised by a familiar friend, Winnie The Pooh. Winnie the Pooh is far from the woods, however, he and his friends set out to make things better.

Playing the role of Christopher Robin is actor Ewan McGregor. This is not the first time McGregor has taken part in the remake of a classic.

He recently played Lumiere in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast." Joining him on the big screen is actress Hayley Atwell, who is known for her role as Agent Carter in Marvel's "Captain America, The First Avenger". Atwell will be playing the role of Christopher Robin's wife. The voice of Winnie the Pooh is done by veteran Pooh actor Jim Cummings.

It has not been announced who else will join the crew on the big screen.
