The latest updates and spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" reveal two new clips from the movie featuring Spider-Man, Thor, and the Guardians of the Galaxy. These characters will join Earth's Mightiest Heroes in saving the whole universe from the Mad Titan Thanos as he begins his long-awaited quest to collect all of the Infinity Stones.

Cast member Don Cheadle also shares the status of his character James Rhodes a.k.a. War Machine during the plot after the events of "Captain America: Civil War." Rhodey will reunite with Cap along with the rest of the team in Wakanda to stop Thanos's invasion of the country.

War Machine returns

According to Don Cheadle, Rhodey's body is slowly recovering from his tragic downfall after the events of "Civil War," but has second thoughts about putting the War Machine armor back on and fight with the Avengers once again.

"I think it's something that he's fighting to put behind him. But absolutely, it creeps up," Cheadle told Screenrant. "There's innuendo. There's shots taken. There's things said. Don't want certain people behind me."

Rhodey suffered a spinal injury after he was accidentally shot by Vision during their battle with Captain America and his team. He now wears a mechanical prosthetics made by Tony Stark to help him heal and walk again, but the trauma he suffered makes it hard for him to go back to the field.

War Machine will join Cap's team and travel to Wakanda to warn Black Panther about Thanos's invasion. He has a new armor and joining him are Black Widow, Falcon, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Hulk, Winter Soldier, Okeye, and the rest of the Wakandian army as they fight hordes of Outriders led Cull Obsidian.

Thor and Spider-Man scenes

Marvel Studios streamed video from "Avengers: Infinity War" as it featured Spider-Man being knighted as an Avengers by Tony Stark and Thor's fateful meeting with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The first clip is a TV spot from the movie and it shows Tony Stark officially recruiting Peter Parker as part of the team.

Peter will be the first person to see Thanos's QShip landing in New York as he swings to the city t stop it. He soon followed by both Iron Man and Doctor Strange. Peter also wears his new Iron Spider suit with four mechanical spider arms.

The second clip sees that Guardians of the Galaxy traveling into hyperspace as they see floating dead bodies from the wreckage. An unconscious Thor hits their as Rocket screams to get rid of him. They eventually rescued the fallen God of Thunder and he was revived by Mantis. Thor panics and turns around asking the Guardians who they are.

Thor will join the Guardians on their journey to go to earth and save his friends from Thanos. The latter will also reforge his new hammer with the help of Rocket and Groot.
