Arie Luyendyk Jr. revealed that he had picked the wrong woman during Monday's episode of "The Bachelor." While he proposed to Becca and tried to make the relationship work, he told viewers that he couldn't stop thinking about Lauren. He admitted that he had made a mistake during the finale of "The Bachelor" and that he needed to end the relationship. In a controversial move, Arie filmed the breakup for the show and he broke things off with Becca as the camera crew tried to capture every emotion. During Tuesday's episode of the show, Arie went back to Lauren to see if she would give him a second chance.
Prior to seeing Lauren, he had a panic attack. He was nervous about seeing her after dumping her on the finale, but what he didn't say was that he had actually talked to her on social media to let her know how things were going. According to a new Us Weekly report, Arie Luyendyk Jr. is now revealing that he was in a crazy Mental State when he was breaking things off with Becca.
Dumped Becca after a few weeks
It had only been a few weeks since Arie proposed to Becca and she was eager to see him in California. The "Bachelor" producers had edited a montage together of them making pizza, hanging out, and just enjoying their relationship. On "After The Final Rose," Becca revealed that she didn't really see any negative signs that something was wrong.
Interestingly, Arie told Lauren that he was 1000% over Becca even though they had just been engaged a few days prior. This angered viewers, and people went crazy on Twitter, discussing his way of handling the situation. Needless to say, it didn't go well.
Lauren labeled as having no self-confidence
Lauren, on the other hand, was happy that he had come back to her.
Fans were curious to see how things were going and Arie couldn't help but be excited about the future. But when he proposed to Lauren during the "Women Tell All," many viewers revealed that they weren't happy with the way Lauren had taken him back so easily. When she accepted his proposal on live television, people on Twitter wrote that she had no self-confidence.
The couple appears happy and they are excited about the future. Perhaps they will take some time to themselves as they overcome the negative press and the public bashing they are currently going through.
