Maci Bookout is currently busy wrapping up this season of "Teen Mom OG," as she filmed the reunion special in New York this past weekend. It sounds like Maci and Catelynn Lowell may have been the only two people who were in New York for the reunion, as Farrah Abraham ditched her final obligation with the network after being fired in favor of going to the Oscars. In addition, Amber Portwood is currently pregnant and it's possible that she doesn't want to go on a plane while pregnant.
However, it sounds like there was a recent mini-reunion for some of the "Teen Mom OG" stars.
According to a new tweet by Gary Shirley, it sounds like Maci Bookout filmed something with Gary Shirley for MTV. On Twitter, Gary revealed that he has just finished filming an episode of TRL, also known as "Total Request Live." He had filmed with Maci Bookout and "Jersey Shore" star, Jenni. He also tagged a woman named Nessa from MTV.
Just finished being a guest for upcoming show @TRL with @MaciBookout @JENNIWOWW @nessnitty #Thanks

Can't talk about storylines
It's interesting that Maci and Gary are guest stars on another show. Surely, they have been invited onto the show because of their "Teen Mom OG" fame, but it's also interesting that they are speaking out about topics and music.
Since they can't speak about their "Teen Mom OG" storylines or reveal what is happening in their lives for the sake of the next season, it will be interesting to see what they do talk about on the show.
Even though Gary isn't one of the main stars on the show, he has become a prominent figure on "Teen Mom OG," because of Amber Portwood's absence for a couple of years.
Amber chose to serve time in prison for anger management and drug-related issues instead of going to treatment and getting professional help. During these years, her storyline was focused on Gary.
'Being Gary' special
Even though Gary Shirley has been on "Teen Mom OG" since the very beginning, MTV still granted him a special hour featuring just him and his problems.
"Being Gary" aired on MTV just a few weeks ago, and many of the other husbands in the franchise have received their own shows as well. Maci Bookout's husband, Taylor McKinney, has not received his own special just yet, but one can imagine it's on the horizon.
Maci Bookout didn't share the news of filming "Total Request Live" on her own Twitter profile, but only retweeted the tweet from Gary. An air date for this special episode has not been released.
What do you think of Maci Bookout and Gary Shirley filming another MTV show together? Would you tune in to watch?
