An American pastime. Across the world, people want to go out and enjoy a good movie. Last year was a good one for movies, but this year is going to be a stellar one with the movie "Black Panther," started it off on a high note. There are a lot of anticipated and exciting films coming out this year. The list seems to be very diverse and filled with special ones. A lot of them have huge potential and upside, and offer something totally new in the story.

Here are some selections of the brilliant movies arriving later this year. There are 10 in total.

'Avengers: Infinity War'

This definitely will be one of the biggest movies of the year. The "Avenger" films usually do well. The film will feature many heroes and they will come together to try and defeat Thanos. The article lists that after this, "Avengers 4" arrives in 2019. But "Avengers: Infinity War" will be out May 4.

'Aquaman'

The DC Universe is hoping to make a hit movie with "Aquaman." The underwater hero will be getting his debut film and it could be very successful or hit rock bottom. "Wonder Woman" was a tremendously good film with a superb story, great action, and acting.

Aquaman, in general, is an interesting phenomenon or character.

The film could be equally special and interesting. The film will hit theaters on December 21.

'Ant-Man and the Wasp'

The first film featured a good cast and a had a good combination of action and humor. Paul Rudd played the role perfectly being the superhero. There is no word on what the story will comprise of but "Evangeline Lily reprises her role as Hope Van Dyne, who now fights alongside Ant-Man as The Wasp."

There is no doubt that this movie can make its mark.

The movie is coming out in the summer on July 6.

'Deadpool 2'

Who can hate Deadpool? The humorful, regenerative, and somewhat of a hero will be returning once again. The expectations for this movie are high with the blazing success of the first film. Cable will be in the film and talented actor Ryan Reynolds will be reprising his role as the fun jokester.

'Ralph Breaks the Internet'

The first animated film was a glaring hit and this one could be too. The sequel hopes to bring the same humor and joy to kids and families. The film will focus on the same hero, but with a different story as he enters the internet this time around. It is out on November 21.

'Red Sparrow'

The beautiful Jennifer Lawrence leads this "cold war thriller." The film could be box office material with Lawrence playing as a person turned into a ruthless agent. It will have a mix of action and feature the anxiety of the time period. The movie will come out on March 2.

'Solo: A Star Wars Story'

About everybody knows the Star Wars franchise or has seen some or all of the movies. The franchise is filled with many fans and now a spin-off of Han Solo is on the way.

The movie will follow the adventures of a young Han Solo. Star Wars Fans have been waiting a long time for this movie to come.

Fans and others will be excited to see this film and it could be very successful. The spin-off will arrive on May 25.

'Venom'

The infamous black symbiote is getting his own movie and it will arrive in theaters on October 5. The movie features a talented cast of actors led by Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Woody Harrelson, and Riz Ahmed. The film looks to be suspenseful and tell a good story about a man being down on his luck and being transformed into the alien figure.

'X-Men: Dark Phoenix'

The film will be an "adaptation of the classic Dark Phoenix storyline." The producers and writers are hoping to pen a hit here with a complete story and action.

They hope to make a better film than the same concept with "X-Men The Last Stand." The film will arrive on November 2.

'Incredibles 2'

The first movie was very successful and it provided a template for success with great humor, action, and a brilliant story. The second one looks to step into its shadow and tell a different story this time around about a man trying to hold his family together and more importantly, deal with a baby with a plethora of superpowers.
