There is a lot happening in the “Teen Mom 2” world. MTV is currently airing “Teen Mom OG” but the sister show has way more going on. The last week has been busier than usual with Twitter beefs and insensitive comments. Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, are getting a lot of backlash for things they have said and done. Twitter users are crying out for MTV to drop Jenelle and David, and they aren't backing down.

Homophobic comments

Yesterday, David Eason went on a vile Twitter rant. His comments were filled with homophobic and transphobic remarks.

Meanwhile, he was telling everyone how great of a parent he was. Of course, Eason was called out. The irony is, he was served by other reality stars, including Moniece Slaughter.

This was actually going on all day long yesterday. David had previously blocked several people in an effort to do damage control. Fortunately, several “Teen Mom 2” viewers had gotten screenshots of the tweets. In a last-ditch effort to revert the damage done, David Eason deactivated his Twitter, or the reports got his account suspended.

Either way, he isn't spewing hate on Twitter anymore.

This is going to get bigger before it dies off. There are several people calling for MTV to cut ties with this couple. If they don 't drop David Eason and Jenelle Evans, the decline in ratings could hurt the entire show. Kailyn Lowry and Randy Houska have retweeted calls for action and have encouraged people to report Eason's account because of his hateful remarks.

While this may not seem like a big deal, it is. Evans and Eason have crossed several lines and when you are connected to a network, you have to watch what is said and done. Remember when TLC cut ties with Derick Dillard over his transphobic remarks? That could happen here as well.

New season

There is currently a brand new season being filmed.

In fact, the crews have even filmed the podcasts that have sparked some interesting debates among the “Teen Mom 2” cast members. Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer upset Jenelle Evans when they discussed some of their thoughts on the special where David reportedly wielded a knife. In an effort to slap them back, Jenelle found a podcast that would have her and went on to spill the tea. Unfortunately, it didn't work like she had planned and people called her out for being petty and rude. It appears that Lowry and Messer are way more liked than Evans. While there is no premiere date for the new season listed, it is being assumed that April or May will bring the return of “Teen Mom 2” and all of the drama with it.
