Last Friday, on February 23, Rachel McAdams's latest Hollywood box office picture, "Game Night," in which she stars alongside Jason Bateman, hit theaters. The film premiered for the first time in the world on Wednesday at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California, but a lot of concern has been raised around Rachel McAdams as she was the only star among the film's cast not to attend the premiere.

Just as both her fans and peers were worried about the former Mean Girls star's whereabouts, she was last seen at an airport in Toronto wearing a suspiciously baggy jacket.

All of these had led to speculation that McAdams just might be pregnant and having a baby with Jamie Linden. At the news of this startling revelation, the internet has banded together to ask one single question: who in the blue h*ll is Jamie Linden?

Who's this Jamie Linden guy?

An understandably obscure name--especially when standing next to megastar Rachel McAdams--Jamie Linden is a Hollywood screenwriter. He reportedly wanted to be a filmmaker and screenwriter the moment that he read a 30th-anniversary article about the 1970 Southern Airways Flight 932 plane crash that killed most of the Marshall University football team. The Florida native was so devastated by the story that he felt compelled to write a screenplay about it once he moved to Hollywood.

He first broke into Hollywood by writing the 2006 Matthew McConaughey historical drama, "We Are Marshall." From there, he wrote a couple of Channing Tatum flicks called "Dear John" and "10 Years," the latter of which Linden directed. He most recently wrote the 2016 thriller "Money Monster," which starred George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

Outside of his career in Hollywood, Linden was once romantically linked to Zooey Deschanel from 2014 until 2016.

Now, it appears as though he has been shacking it up happily with Rachel McAdams.

What links him to McAdams?

While no official word has been made regarding what started their situation, or if they officially have a situation to begin with, rumors about the two dating started circulating in the summer of 2016--around the time that he stopped dating Zooey Deschanel--when they were seen in public holding hands.

That was enough for the mass general public to assume the two have been in a relationship.

Rachel McAdams has a tendency to keep her life outside of her career private, and so it has yet to be confirmed that she has been dating Linden, or that she's pregnant.

What does this mean for her career?

If we know one thing for sure, it's that if she is pregnant, it is a dream come true for McAdams, who has professed in numerous interviews over the years that she wishes to one day become a mother. And if the two have been dating for two years, she certainly will be having a child with a man who she loves.

We should not expect this to affect her career in any way, shape, or form. Of course, work may be difficult to film on the set while pregnant, but once that baby pops out, she still has a number of commitments to film projects that she will be sure to take part in.

Most notably with her recent inclusion into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Right now, that's not important. The main thing that McAdams should concern herself with is celebrating the gift of life with her hubby and take the necessary steps to pregnant life. Congratulations, you lovebirds!
