The Season 7 premiere of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" shouldn't be far off but that's not the most exciting thing going on for Karlie Redd these days. Karlie has been keeping herself very busy lately between "LHHATL," a recurring role on Bounce TV's "Saints and Sinners" and a handful of businesses that she runs in between.

When it seems like she wouldn't have time to do anything else, Karlie Redd has shocked her fans with the promise of new music. It's been a few years since her last release, "Heartbreaker" featuring Young Dro was released back in 2015 and it looks like Karlie is ready to prove that she still has music in her.

Not only that, but it's going to be hot!

Karlie teases new music

If you've been following Karlie Redd on Instagram, then you'll know that she's been putting in time at the studio. Most recently, she shared a video on social media to tease a snippet of a new song. It's safe to say that Karlie is veering away from the pop vibe she had in "Heartbreaker."

This time around, the "LHHATL" star is going much harder. Karlie can be seen rapping along with her own recording behind the Grammy-nominated Sean "The Pen" Garrett. Her soon-to-be-released work has been described as Lil Kim circa 1996. That's not wrong and Karlie's latest might be the return to hip-hop that we've all been waiting for.

'Wake Me Up'

In Karlie Redd's upcoming track "Wake Me Up," a teaser shows a red-headed Karlie rapping "I'm that b***h with that fire mouth" before launching into a few bars that make it clear, Karlie is here and she's not playing. Her style is very much reminiscent of 90's rappers like Lil Kim and Foxy Brown, who went hard and held nothing back.

Karlie is also holding nothing back as her producer, dubbed "The Pen" by Jay-Z, let's out a big "Woo!" and looks shook by Karlie's latest musical offering. One thing is for sure, Karlie's confidence is unwavering and the beat is infectious. This is sure to be a hit.

With no actual premiere date yet, "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" is expected to return to VH1 for Season 7 within the next few months.

Despite a production delay back in December, fans can expect a return of the popular series very soon and Karlie Redd will be right there alongside other longtime co-stars of the high-drama reality series. That means we can expect to see a lot more of Karlie both on TV and with her music very shortly. Stay tuned, once the premiere and release dates are made available, we'll be sure to keep up with the Karlie Redd updates.
