Jill and Derick Dillard used to go out of the country for Mission Trips, but lately, they have been staying home in Arkansas and working on things locally. The couple now has two young children at home and while in Central America they dealt with a few scary things. They have been working with Cross Church School of Ministry. Now, Jill Duggar Dillard is sharing on their blog that they have plans for a few mission trips that are coming up.

What are their big plans?

Jill Duggar Dillard shared that they are changing what they are doing a bit and that this will also let Derick work on getting his additional seminary hours.

Right now, it is all ministry stuff in their local area. Jill shared now saying, "We look forward to going on a couple more missions trips in the next few months to Mexico and Colorado. Please pray with us as we continue to look for ways to share the hope of Jesus with others and work with CCSM!" She didn't share the exact details about what they will be doing while they are there.

It does turn out that they are going to be leaving the United States again and going to Mexico. Jill and Derick made it sound like they would be staying in the United States. It looks like this plan has changed now. They even said that a friend in Central America had a friend murdered recently, which is pretty scary, but they aren't going back to that same area.

They didn't share the exact details about where they will be going, though. Jill does do updates on their blog so hopefully, she will share some more information with the fans on what is going on with them once they start doing their missino trips.

Will this air on "Counting On"?

It doesn't sound like any of this will air on "Counting On." Jill and Derick Dillard shouldn't really be on the show.

TLC cut ties with Derick because of the things that he kept saying about Jazz Jennings on Twitter. He wouldn't let it go. Now, there has been talk that Jill wouldn't be filming the show either. Everyone really wants to get to see how their lives are going, but things have changed now that Derick won't be part of the show. He has totally been cut out.

Are you surprised to hear that Jill and Derick Dillard have plans for more mission trips? Sound off in the comments below on your thoughts, and don't miss the new episodes of "Counting On" when they return to TLC later this month. It will be interesting to see if Jill shows up at all, but so far it sounds like if you do see her then it won't be very much.
