Marie Osmond's appearance has drastically changed over the years, and, according to recent reports, many fans believe Marie could be suffering from an addiction to plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures. Hollywood News Daily reports that Marie Osmond appears to be unrecognizable these days. Osmond, 58, is described as having major issues with the aging process and plans to fight it in any and all ways possible.

Is Marie Osmond obsessing too much over her looks?

Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who has never treated Marie Osmond as a patient, gave his opinion on what the cosmetic work he believes Marie Osmond has undergone in the past few years amounts to.

While it is true that over her lifetime Marie has suffered from issues regarding her weight, the Nutra System spokeswoman, now 50+ pounds thinner, appears to have that part of her life under control.

It would be understandable to accept that since Osmond's weight-loss success, her appearance would be altered to some extent. However, Dr. Youn feels that she has also had quite a bit of work done in hopes of retaining a more youthful appearance. Youn claims that from her appearance, Osmond has recently undergone a full facelift procedure which includes top and bottom eye lifts, as well as numerous filler procedures.

There is an obvious change to Marie's eyebrow arch which indicates Botox injections to the forehead.

There has also been a major change in Marie's nose over the years. When Marie Osmond was younger she had a wider, fuller nose, much different from the more narrow and slender look she sports today.

Dr. Youn also feels that Marie Osmond is teetering with taking the quest for youth too far, adding that any further surgeries could have an adverse effect on the look Osmond is working so hard to achieve.

Hopefully she will stop where she is now and not push her luck overdoing the facelifts, fillers and major overhauls. Many celebrities have come to regret such procedures, like Melanie Griffith, Goldie Hawn, Kenny Rogers, and Barry Manilow, to name a few.
