"Karate Kid" fans take note — Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) are together again and coming to YouTube Red. Did you ever believe you would see Daniel and Johnny facing off again after all these years? Well, the first "Cobra Kai" teaser video has just hit YouTube and it is quickly blowing up.

Daniel and Johnny meet again

We also have to tell you that 80s fans are pretty stoked about the upcoming revival of the classic underdog karate hero film. This is enough to bring the guys from "How I Met Your Mother" out of the woodwork, and who knows maybe there will be room for a cameo of Ted, Marshall and Barney with their beloved "Karate Kid" film stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka.

Ralph Macchio forever our 'Karate Kid' 34 years later

At this time there is really not a lot of information being released about the "Cobra Kai" series. The teaser does reveal that Daniel and Johnny are far from friends after all these years. In the clip, Johnny is looking to bring old and new life into his old stomping grounds dojo Cobra Kai. He wants to run things like the old days and teach the art of karate like he was taught.

Daniel gets wind of this news and is not about to let Johnny get away with this. He wants to continue honoring teacher and friend Mr. Miyagi and is ready to do whatever it takes to make sure Johnny is stopped. The two 50ish men look via the clip as if they are about to throw down once again.

Meeting in old familiar settings and in the middle of the matt Daniel boldly says to “Johnny, you and I, this… we aren’t done.”

Is the revival theme kind of corny...yes, but it could be a lot of fun and very entertaining in a nostalgic way. It would also be very interesting to see just where 2018 has brought Daniel and Johnny's lives.

According to EW fans can also look forward to seeing stars including Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Robby Keene, Ed Asner as Johnny’s old-school stepfather, Sid Weinberg. Courtney Henggeler from the hit "Mom" will play Daniel’s wife Amanda, while Mary Mouser stars as his daughter, Samantha.

But who will be the first to throw out that much dreaded and debilitating crane kick?

And we just have to ask which are you, Team Daniel or Team Johnny? Yes, we know Johnny is the "bad guy" but even the bad guy gets some fans right? At this time "Cobra Kai" still doesn’t have an official premiere date; the teaser will only say it’s “coming soon," and for those of us who love the 80s vibe it can't be soon enough.

What are your thoughts on the "Karate Kid" "Cobra Kai" revival? Is this something you would watch?
