Peggy Sulahian will not be featured on the 13th season of "The Real Housewives of orange county." Following the unexpected exits of both Meghan King Edmonds and Lydia McLaughlin, Sulahian took to her Facebook page to confirm the surprising news of her own exit with her fans and followers.

"What an exciting experience it was to be part of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County!'" Peggy Sulahian began in her February 13 post. Sulahian joined the cast of the Bravo TV reality series last year as the 100th housewife of all-time and was honored to have done so.

She was also extremely proud to be the very first Armenian-American cast member of the franchise and appreciative for the opportunity to share her culture with viewers around the world.

Peggy Sulahian reassessed her life before announcing her exit

"While I faced and conquered many challenges, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my story and spread awareness of breast cancer," Peggy Sulahian continued. In addition to dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis during filming, Sulahian was also faced with the passing of her father, which quickly led her to reassess and reflect on her life. In turn, she's realized that the most important thing in life is to surround herself with people who love and care for her and maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle.

According to Peggy Sulahian, moving on from her role on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" seemed to be the best thing to do at this stage in her life. That said, she will continue to keep her fans and followers in the loop with her life and teased "new ventures" that are coming soon.

Peggy Sulahian joined 'RHOC' in 2017

Following the exit of Heather Dubrow, Lydia Mclaughlin rejoined the cast of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" and brought her friend, Peggy Sulahian, with her to the group. As fans of the series will remember, McLaughlin previously appeared in a full-time role during the show's eighth season but left as soon as filming was complete.

Just last week, prior to Sulahian's exit from the show, Lydia McLaughlin took to her official website to confirm that she would not be back. Weeks before that, Meghan King Edmonds revealed on her blog that she was done with the show as well.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 13 began filming over the weekend with Shannon Beador. There has been no word yet on who will replace Peggy Sulahian and the other empty roles left by Lydia McLaughlin and Meghan King Edmonds.
