Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child on Monday via surrogate. We already knew they were expecting another little girl. Rumors circulated months ago about the gender of the newest Kimye baby before Kim confirmed that they opted to give North and Saint a little sister while appearing on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" in December.

Now that baby number three has arrived, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" fans can't wait to find out what Kim and Kanye chose for a name. After all, they are major trendsetters and definitely bucked the status quo when they named their first two.

What should Kim and Kanye name their baby?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have given a few clues about their baby name preferences over the years. Clearly, they like one syllable names with children named North and Saint. Kim even confirmed that she prefers the shorter monikers so we can expect that their new daughter will probably have a short name too.

That said, North did have a baby name preference herself. When Kim was on "Ellen," she told the talk show host that North wanted to name her baby sister "Star." That would be cute for a few reasons, the first being that the new baby is literally already a star. The second reason, that it would fit really cute with North's name.

Kim also said during the show that North loves that name so much that she has been naming everything Star.

Unfortunately, we can already bet it won't be her new sister's name because Kim said she wasn't "vibing on it."

Another name we know that Kim and Kanye won't use is South. The famous couple already made it clear that they aren't naming any more kids after directions on a map so North won't have a sibling named East either.

Are Kim and Kylie fighting over baby names?

Kylie Jenner still hasn't confirmed her pregnancy despite ongoing rumors since September. The youngest of the "KUWTK" crew is also reportedly expecting a baby girl. According to OK! Magazine, the sisters may be fighting over another baby name that both of them love. Literally, the name is "Love."

With Kim Kardashian's baby already here and Kylie's due as late as March, some might say Kim has dibs on baby names.

However, that could cause contention in the KarJenner family if Kylie had her heart set on that name. Was Kylie teasing us on Instagram again when she posed for the cover of Love magazine? Is that going to be the name of her baby? It's literally the last photo she shared on the account and it's been up for quite some time. That is very unusual for Kylie, who has been noticeably absent from social media for months.

Kim and Kanye will pick the perfect name

There's no doubt that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been mulling over baby names for a while now. Back in December, Kim said she wasn't sure what name they'd choose but she could have just been keeping their choice a secret.
