Kim Kardashian West has finally confirmed that baby number three is on the way. The rumor about a third baby via surrogacy was circulating in the media for quite some time now, and the 36-year-old has finally declared it to be true. The reality TV star confirmed the news on her show "Keeping up with the Kardashians."
When did Kim break the news?
In the teaser trailer for season 14, Kim is talking to her younger sister Khloe Kardashian via Facetime, which is when Kim asks her "what happens every time I say, 'Guess what?'." Khloe responds by saying that "the person's pregnant?," then Kim breaks the new that "We're having a baby!."
Kim's pregnancy troubles pushed the couple to opt for surrogacy
During an episode of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" back in April, Kim discloses that she and husband, Kanye West are giving surrogacy a try after she was informed that a third pregnancy could not happen.
During her first pregnancy, with daughter North, she is told that she is suffering from placenta accreta -- a life-threatening condition. In the same episode, Kim said that she feels like surrogacy is her "reality" and probably "the only other option" for her. The premiere of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" season 14 will go on air this Sunday, at 9 p.m. ET on "E!".
What will the surrogate get?
It was revealed by "People" and "E! Online" in June, that Kim and Kanye have paid a hefty sum to a surrogate agency, who will find them a suitable candidate for carrying their baby. It was further disclosed that the chosen woman would be paid around $45,000 throughout the pregnancy, as well as a bonus of $5,000 each if there are chances of a twin or triplet child.
Reportedly Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are also pregnant
A lot of pregnancy news is being associated with the Kardashian and Jenner sisters these days, as according to "People" and "TMZ," Kim's 33-year-old sister Khloe Kardashian is rumored to be pregnant with boyfriend, Tristan Thompson's child. Not only this but, Kim's 20-year-old half-sister and cosmetics line mogul, Kylie Jenner is also reportedly expecting her first baby with beau Travis Scott.
Both these pregnancies have neither been confirmed nor denied by the family or their spokespersons. Kim married Kanye West in a lavish ceremony at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy in May 2014. The couple has two children together, daughter North,4, and son, Saint, who is 20 months old.
