jill zarin, who formerly starred on Bravo's popular reality series, "The Real Housewives of New York City," was sadly forced to say goodbye to her husband Bobby this past Saturday after 18 years of blissful marriage. He had been battling cancer for years, and unfortunately, his condition had been worsening in recent months.
Receiving tons of support after the tragic loss
The funeral was held in New York City on Monday and all of Zarin's old castmates came out to show their love and support.
Even Bethenny Frankel, whom Jill has been famously feuding with for years, hopped on a private plane from Aspen to be with her when she heard the tragic news.
Bethenny also reportedly arrived at the funeral with a Bravo camera crew, however, Jill had previously approved of the filming for "The Real Housewives of New York." Zarin said that her husband Bobby would have been happy to see the two friends coming together after all this time and that he was an important part of the show.
Other "Real Housewives of New York" like Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Kelly Bensimon were present at the funeral, as well as "Millionaire Matchmaker" star Patti Stanger, and "The Real Housewives of Miami" star Marysol Patton, according to Page Six.
Jill gave an emotional eulogy during the ceremony, saying that Bobby was an "incredibly great husband, a great father and grandfather, and [a] truly great friend."
Frankel tweeted out after the funeral that it is essential to "realize what is important" in life.
Jill reportedly revealed to Bethenny that she was "scared" to be alone now that she does not have her husband by her side and Bethenny told her not to be scared and that she was alone too, People reported. Maybe a real reunion for the two former friends is finally possible?
Is Jill sharing too much?
Following the burial, Jill uploaded a video to her Instagram story saying, "we just came back from burying Bobby" and that it was a "very sad day for my family."
She added that they were "so happy to see so many of [their] friends and family come in honor of Bobby" and that she was in awe of "the beautiful speeches." She said she knew he was "shining" down and watching them and that he would have "loved" the service they had for him.
Jill thanked her fans and supporters for their kind messages and said she would be reading them all later.
Some people criticised the former reality star for being so open on social media, saying that some things (like burying your husband) should be kept private.
Do you think that Jill Zarin should not have posted the video to her Instagram story after her husband Bobby's funeral?
