Dorit Kemsley was more confident and more aware during her second season with "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Ahead of tonight's season eight premiere of the Bravo TV reality series, the mother of two opened up about what it was like coming back to the show one year after she first joined the cast.
"I feel better not being the newbie," Dorit Kemsley explained to the Daily Mail on December 18. The wife of Paul Kemsley, manager of Boy George, also said that she is "stronger and more confident" during her sophomore season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." As fans may recall, Kemsley was brought to the cast of the series for season seven as a friend of Lisa Vanderpump.
The cast addition came after full-time cast member Kathryn Edwards and part-time cast member Brandi Glanville left the show.
Dorit Kemsley got on the bad side of Erika Girardi during 'RHOBH' season seven
During a lunch date with her co-stars, including Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley learned that her co-star, Erika Girardi, wasn't wearing underwear. A short time later, Paul Kemsley, who was seated across from the reality star and singer, was believed to have gotten an eye-full. Episodes later, Kemsley officially launched "Panty-gate" by gifting Girardi a pair of lacy underwear in an effort to ensure Girardi would be properly covered in the future. Despite their rocky start during season seven, Kemsley and Girardi are currently good friends after finding their way to a friendship during filming on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season eight.
As she explained to the Daily Mail, Kemsley started from scratch with Girardi during season eight and now have great conversations with one another. "It's been really nice to get along," she added.
Dorit Kemsley loves all of her 'RHOBH' co-stars
While there is sure to be tons of drama throughout season eight, Dorit Kemsley said that she currently has no animosity of ill feelings towards any of her co-stars.
As for the newest addition, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Kemsley said that she and the fitness blogger, who also has two young children, bonded right away.
