Friday (Nov. 17) on "The Young and the Restless," Neil Winters came face to face with the new version of Victoria Newman. In a short period of time, Victor's daughter has gone from pining away for her ex-husband to throwing her sister Abby under the bus in order to save face at Newman Enterprises. The woman who spent so much time flirting with Billy and even initiating a kiss with him has suddenly cut him out of her life. She made it very clear to Neil that never again would anyone strip her of her power and he, in turn, told her to be careful what she wishes for.

Neil is shocked at how calculating Victoria has become
Neil was hired to be the new PR person for Newman Enterprises, but Victoria is making it very difficult for him to do his job. He criticized her for throwing Abby under the bus and took note of how cold and calculating she has become. Neil told Victor he did not agree with Victoria implying in the press that her sister may have been working with Zack, but the Newman patriarch stood by his daughter's decision.
Only months ago Brash and Sassy was about to go under and Neil and Devon gave Vicky a bridge loan to keep her afloat. Now that she is COO at Newman, she is treating Neil like he is subservient to her.
She told him on Friday that chasing Billy clouded her judgment and now she is focused on business. It's obvious that power is now her new obsession and this is what she will chase instead of her former spouse. This new "take no prisoners" attitude definitely will not win her any friends, but Victoria does not care.
Victoria may have bitten off more than she can chew
Neil warned Vicky that she is beginning to act like her father but she denied it. The position of COO has gone to her head and she is no longer concerned with matters of the heart. Spoiler alerts do not have any news regarding her relationship with Billy so, for now, it seems like "Villy" has hit a dead end.
Victoria, however, may have bitten off of more than she is able to chew and does not know if or when she made need either Neil Winters her ex-husband's help in the future.
One thing that is certain, is that Victoria Newman has regained her harsh standing in Genoa City, and yet again will be viewed as a female version of her father.
