Everyone that has watched "The Real Housewives of orange county" knows that Tamra Judge has a strained relationship with her daughter Sidney. They haven't been speaking to each other and Sidney has been living with her father for years. Now ET got the chance to talk to Tamra and get an update on how things are going for them now and if they have worked through their issues.
Tamra gives an update
For now, Tamra Judge isn't giving up on the idea of fixing her relationship with her daughter. The fans have seen her get very emotional talking about it on the show.
She is admitting that right now there is not a lot of movement in their relationship. It doesn't sound like things are getting much better.
Right now, Tamra Judge is feeling pretty great about what is going on with her daughter, though. She said, "But I’m very hopeful, because I feel like if she’s removed from [home] – she’s [at college] out of state -- she’s on the East Coast, so just the fact that she’s living on her own and thinking on her own, I think it will be really good for her. I really do."
Why could this get better?
The idea that Sidney won't be living with her dad Simon Barney anymore is one thing that could help a lot. Tamra and Simon called it quits back in 2011, so their relationship has had issues for years.
It doesn't look like Simon and Tamra will ever speak again, but now that Sidney is out of the house that could be a bit helpful. It has been very clear that Sidney isn't a big fan of her mom staying on the show all this time.
Now when it comes to Sophia and Tamra it is a different story. These two are best friends and get along great.
There is no reason to ever think that their relationship would end up strained like that of Tamra and Sidney. They seem to have it all figured out and get along great. Tamra said it is even hard for her daughter to go to her dad's house because she really does like spending all of her time with her mom.
Tamra Judge is now happy with her husband Eddie and has moved on with her life.
The one thing that is a problem for her is the fact that she hasn't been able to fix her issues with her daughter. Tamra would love for that to happen, but for now, it just doesn't look like that is going to happen.
