Ryan Edwards and Wife Mackenzie Standifer have been featured on the past couple of seasons of "Teen Mom OG," and according to a new report, the couple may be headed for a spinoff series of their own. While MTV has not yet announced anything, Standifer took to her Snapchat account earlier this week to reveal that some exciting new projects are in the works with her and her husband.

“I thought I’d let you guys know that there are several exciting things that are coming soon for y’all,” Mackenzie Standifer announced, according to a report by In Touch Weekly magazine on November 27.

Ryan Edwards' wife went on to reveal that the exciting projects she was referring to would give their fans and followers some insight into their real lives at home in Tennessee. "So, instead of seeing just the 10-minute snippets of chopped up conversations of our lives, ya’ll will actually get to see why the are the way we are or why you think that I have a super tough exterior,” she explained.

Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer got married twice

Earlier this year, after about a year of dating, Edwards and Standifer tied the knot in a small ceremony attended by his parents, Larry and Jen Edwards, in Tennessee. Then, months later, the "Teen Mom OG" couple got married again, this time in a much larger ceremony attended by their family and friends, including their two sons from previous relationships, nine-year-old Bentley and three-year-old Hudson.

Bentley's mom, Maci Bookout, also attended the event with her husband, Taylor McKinney.

Ryan Edwards struggled with substance abuse during 'Teen Mom OG' season six

During episodes of "Teen Mom OG" earlier this year, Ryan Edwards was seen struggling to cope with an alleged addiction to Xanax, which his wife was seen questioning him about just after he nearly fell asleep while driving the two of them to their wedding ceremony.

Following the sixth season finale, Edwards checked himself into a treatment center and reportedly remained there for weeks as he addressed his addiction to substances. He is hoping to recover from the substance addiction issue.
