Kenya Moore was photographed making her way out of a fertility clinic earlier this month but the latest "Real Housewives of Atlanta" baby news isn't about her. Instead, it's about the show's newest addition, former "America's Next Top Model" contestant Eva Marcille.
According to a report by People magazine on November 21, Eva Marcille and her boyfriend, Atlanta mayoral candidate Michael Sterling, are expecting a baby boy. The child will join Marcille's first child, three-and-a-half-year-old daughter Marley Rae, from her past relationship with musician Kevin McCall, and luckily, Marley Rae is quite excited.
As Eva Marcille explained, she asked her daughter if she would like to have a brother or sister weeks ago and in turn, she learned that Marley Rae would like to welcome a baby brother. "At the time, I had no idea what I was having," Marcille revealed.
Eva Marcille's pregnancy was a surprise, sort of
Months ago, the reality star began to experience odd symptoms and didn't initially know what was wrong. Then, after visiting a doctor, who decided to perform an ultrasound to ensure she did not have any tumors or cysts, Eva Marcille learned that she was seven-and-a-half weeks pregnant with her second child. "I was expecting the worst only to find out I was carrying a life," she recalled. Because the pregnancy wasn't planned, the 33-year-old was understandably shocked and a bit scared at the time she learned she was expecting.
As she explained, her boyfriend was in the midst of his mayoral campaign and being pregnant was definitely not a part of their plan.
How did Michael Sterling handle the pregnancy news?
During her interview with People magazine, Eva Marcille said that her boyfriend, Michael Sterling, is “an extremely even-keeled guy” and doesn't express excitement in the way most do.
So, when she first shared her baby news with him, she wasn't surprised to see that he wasn't exactly jumping up and down. Days later, Marcille and Sterling spoke of their baby news once again, and this time around, Sterling revealed that he was happy to be welcoming a child, which was a huge relief for the reality star and actress.
