Kenya Moore is reportedly being phased out of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" due to her husband Marc Daly's alleged refusal to appear on the show. While Bravo TV has not yet revealed any plans to get rid of Moore or have her role reduced, a new report claims that Eva Marcille has been brought to the show as Moore's husband remains unseen.
“Kenya didn’t quit, but she is being disciplined and producers brought in Eva Marcille as a supporting cast member in her absence,” an insider told Radar Online on October 3. According to the report, Bravo TV producers are paying Moore a massive salary to share her true life with her fans and followers.
So, for Moore to tie the knot with Daly in a secret ceremony with cameras banned felt wrong.
Although Kenya Moore hasn't quit or been fired from "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta," the insider told readers that the reality star and model would be "fined" by the network by not getting paid for the trip episodes of the show and noted that she was going to be "phased out" of the series.
Kenya Moore's wedding reportedly caused tension on set
According to the Radar Online report, Moore has been at odds with her "Real Housewives of Atlanta" co-stars and the crew of the show since saying "I do" in June in St. Lucia. As the insider explained, Moore and the producers have been unable to come to a resolution in regard to how they should proceed with Moore's role on the show.
Immediately after tying the knot, Moore stayed quiet about her wedding. Then, weeks later, she confirmed that she and Daly had wed.
Does Kenya Moore want more money from Bravo TV?
Prior to the latest Radar Online report, a source told the outlet that Moore may be using her relationship with husband Marc Daly as a bargaining chip to re-negotiate her contract with the network.
“The network feels as though [Kenya Moore]’s using this as a tactic to get her salary in the same ballpark as Nene,” the source explained.
Despite Moore's possible efforts to have her Bravo TV paycheck increased, there doesn't appear to be any plans for any such thing. Instead, rumors continue to swirl in regards to Moore's potentially impending exit from the long-running reality show, which she joined during its fifth season.
