Season 25 of “Dancing With The Stars” has started and Frankie Muniz is already generating a lot of buzz among “DWTS” fans. Frankie is partnered with Witney Carson this fall, and viewers are anxious to see how well the two can do. What do people watching at home need to know about Muniz as he hits the dance floor with Carson?

The actor shifted gears after 'Malcolm'

Frankie Muniz is best known for his years playing Malcolm Wilkerson on “Malcolm in the Middle,” a comedy that aired from 2000 to 2006. Muniz has continued to do acting gigs here and there, such as appearing in a couple of the "Sharknado" movies.

However, he shifted his focus to professional race car driving after his big series ended. Frankie also has devoted a significant amount of time to music, both as a drummer in a band and as a band manager.

Muniz has had his fair share of health issues over the past decade, and fans worry that these may have an impact on his “Dancing With the Stars” experience. The "DWTS" contestant told People that he has broken 38 bones since 2006 and he's experienced nine concussions since his childhood.

Frankie had a very serious driving accident in 2009 that left him with a broken back and other significant injuries, and he started to experience mini-strokes beginning in 2012. Muniz details that doctors cannot pinpoint the cause of these mini-strokes, and they still happen from time to time.

However, he can typically manage these events without having to slow down too much.

Life is going well for Frankie these days

As for his romantic life, Frankie has had some high-profile relationships in the past. According to Heavy, he is currently dating Arizona model Paige Price. The two have been together for more than a year and Just Jared Jr.

notes that they worked together on the independent film, “The Black String.”

Muniz has been asked to do “Dancing With the Stars” a handful of times before, but he never felt the time was right until now.

Frankie says he's in a good place now and it certainly looks as if he's enjoying his “DWTS” experience with partner Witney Carson so far. The two have received great scores in their initial dances and many people think he could be contenders this season.

Could Witney Carson earn her second "DWTS" mirror-ball trophy by winning season 25 with Frankie Muniz? "Team Franney Pack" is facing plenty of stiff competition this fall, but fans are rooting for Frankie and Witney and cannot wait to see what else they have in store for viewers in this round of "Dancing with the Stars."
