Two popular Korean pop groups just released their new singles, and their music videos are already raking in a lot of views all over the world. TWICE and Super Junior announced their respective comebacks earlier this year, and they have kicked off the promotions of their new releases.
TWICE just returned with their first full album, and their single's music video garnered one million views in just an hour. Meanwhile, Super Junior released its latest music video and single, prior to their official comeback.
TWICE unveils new single ‘Likey’
JYP Entertainment finally dropped TWICE’s first-ever full studio album along with the release of their music video for their title track, “Likey.” The album is available through physical purchase and digital download.
The music video was released on October 30, and it has already earned 4.75 million views on YouTube in just eight hours.
Their new studio album is called “Twicetagram,” which is named after their group’s official username on Instagram. Including their aforementioned title track, the K-pop girl group’s new album consists of 13 new songs, which some of the members worked on.
Super Junior reveals first new song
Meanwhile, one of the biggest K-Pop acts in the world has finally returned with a new album. Super Junior just dropped their new song and music video titled “One More Chance.” SM Entertainment revealed the music video through the company’s official YouTube channel, and it has already received almost half a million views.
Fans of the K-Pop idol boy group have been waiting earnestly for their comeback because it has been two years since Super Junior released any new material. Only seven of the active members will be participating in this comeback. Kangin and Sungmin have been forced to sit this one out because of personal issues, while Ryeowook and Kyuhyun are currently complying with their mandatory military service.
Their new group album titled PLAY will consist of 10 new tracks including “One More Chance.” They will be promoting double title tracks namely, “Black Suit” and “Don’t Leave Like The Rain.” Super Junior member Donghae reportedly composed the lyrics of “Don’t Leave Like The Rain.”
“One More Chance” was revealed prior to the group’s official album release, which is scheduled to be out on November 6.
After dropping the first music video, they’ll be unveiling three music video teasers for “Black Suit” from November 1 until November 3. The group will be revealing their album’s tracklist on October 31.
