A number of K-Pop groups are squeezing in for a comeback as the year draws to an end. One of Sm Entertainment’s most successful idol groups will be returning to the music scene with a new album.

Super Junior just announced that they will be releasing a new album next month. The group also revealed a new set of official teasers, revealing that age clearly didn’t matter to this group of veteran idols.

Super Junior prepares new album

The veteran idol group has announced that they will be releasing their eighth album on November 6. It has been a couple of years since the group released a full studio album so their fans are eagerly waiting for this comeback.

The new set of teasers revealed two group photos featuring the seven active members namely Heechul, Shindong, Donghae, Siwon, Yesung, Leeteuk, and Eunhyuk, in two different concepts. The teasers, which were also uploaded in the boys’ respective social media accounts, revealed them in contrasting concepts of greyscaled suits and colored casuals.

The boys have promised fans that they will be dropping more teasers, including solo teasers of individual members, for the next three days. Super Junior went through a lot before they could push through with their comeback so they're making sure that this comeback is worth the wait.

The group already revealed as early as January that they were preparing to make a new album, but some of their fans demanded conditions. Unfortunately, these conditions including having two active members to drop out from the comeback otherwise the complaining fans will boycott the idol group.

After careful consideration, SJ Label and Super Junior finally decided to push through with the comeback with just seven members.

Members Kangin and Lee Sungmin have been forced to sit this one out because of their respective situations.

Kangin, whose real name is Kim Young-Woon, remains inactive as a member of the group for being recently charged again with hit and run while driving under the influence of alcohol, which is a huge issue, especially for South Korean artists.

Meanwhile, Sungmin was forced to step out of the new album’s preparations because of some fans' disappointment over his sudden marriage to actress Kim Sa-Eun.

Heechul to participate in upcoming comeback

Shortly after Super Junior announced their comeback, Heechul shocked fans when he also announced that he is planning not to drop out from the promotions of the group’s upcoming comeback. The veteran idol posted on his official Instagram account a lengthy message apologizing to his members and explaining that his injuries from the group’s huge car accident in 2007 have been bugging him lately.

SJ Label, the group’s own agency, released an official statement announcing that Heechul has decided to fully participate in the promotions of the new album despite his earlier message. SJ Label assured fans that there was nothing to worry about since Heechul’s message on social media was only to express his concerns.
