"Superstore" season 3 premiered this week and right off the bat managed to deliver several shockers, including the one in which Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) address their spontaneous kiss in the midst of the hurricane. Another shocker was Jonah's admission that he is now homeless after the hurricane tore down his apartment. But one of the funnier moments of the episode was when Dina (Lauren Ash) could not recognize guest star Howie Mandel, who was the celebrity guest during Cloud 9's grand reopening. As the Cloud 9 family are slowly getting back up on their feet following two months of unemployment, it seems that the characters have been bonded for life after the traumatic experience.

But what's to come for this crazy Cloud 9 family? Ash gives viewers a hint of what they can see if they continue watching the NBC comedy.

Dina will shed more light on her personal life

Throughout the first two seasons of "Superstore," viewers got to know Lauren Ash's Dina, the tough-as-nails, no-bullish-- supervisor who runs the Cloud 9 crew. The only few details viewers did find out about her was that she has sisters and has a home full of pet birds. That's about to change in "Superstore" season 3, however, as it seems viewers will get to see more of Dina's personal life. Ash recently told the Albuquerque Journal that she's "excited...to show a different side of Dina." The 34-year old actress shared that one of the biggest challenges of playing Dina was "making sure we give her enough humanity" because the character isn't just "this crazy, one-dimensional person." Ash explained that "[Dina] actually does have a different side and it’s what I’m excited about for this season."

The third season may show younger versions of Amy and Dina

Lauren Ash also shared some of the storylines that she would like to see in "Superstore" season 3.

She admitted that she and star and producer America Ferrera have been "campaigning...to see Amy and Dina in high school." Ash explained that the show had already hinted about "a friendly past" between the two characters and that it would definitely be something really interesting to see more of on screen.

Next episode to bring some sad news

In other "Superstore" season 3 news, Cloud 9 has lost one of its work family members, as Brett, unfortunately, did not survive the storm. In the upcoming episode titled "Brett is Dead," the Cloud 9 staff will hold a memorial for their fallen co-worker, who was last seen outdoors when the hurricane hit. "Superstore" season 3 airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
