It can be remembered that in "Outlander" Season 2 finale, Claire (Balfe) traveled back in time to be with her husband.
The event made her separated from Jamie and led him to think that she is already dead. Claire and Jamie are living 20 years apart, but reports are making the rounds that the couple will be reunited in episode 6 of "Outlander" Season 3.
Readers of Diana Gabaldon's book know that Claire and Jamie will be back together this season. The couple will be seeing each other accidentally at a print shop in the sixth episode.
Starz will not air episode 6 anytime soon due to some competition issue
However, fans will need to wait for the new episode to air, as Hidden Remote unveiled that there is no new episode to be aired this week. According to the report, Starz network made a decision not to air the "Outlander" episode 6, entitled “A.
Malcolm,” until Oct. 22, 2017.
Several reasons have reportedly affected the airing of the print shop scene such as rating issue and competition against the premiere date of "The Walking Dead" Season 8 of the AMC network. Fortunately, the new episode will be airing for a longer time compared to the other episodes. The sixth episode is reportedly the longest episode, which would come around in 75 minutes.
Despite the success of "Outlander," the stars of the series, Balfe and Heughan have remained close friends and have not developed sparks and feelings towards each other. Fortunately, the fans have remained supportive of Balfe and Heuhgan even if they are not a real-life couple. Heughan is reportedly in a relationship with Mackenzie Mauzy for a few months now.
"Outlander" Season 3 will return on Oct. 22 at 8/7c on the Starz network starring Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan. Perhaps, fans are already excited to see the on-screen couple reunite!
