The return of a "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star has been confirmed for season 8 of the show. A production source tells Radar Online that Adrienne Maloof will be a part of the "RHOBH" cast for the upcoming season. The news may not come as a complete shock to fans following updates about the reality show's filming status, but it's always nice to hear confirmation on what appears to be true.
Adrienne is back
The production insider tells Radar Online that Adrienne is "super excited" to be returning to "RHOBH." It's unclear if she's joining the cast full-time or part-time, but judging by the many photos that have been released on Instagram, Adrienne may be on a part-time status.
She's not one of the ladies who joined the rest of the cast in Berlin, which has all of the full-time members. The source went on to explain that Adrienne is still "working out details on the contract.”
Maloof left the show after season 3. She was in the middle of a colossal feud with Brandi Glanville, who exposed her for using a surrogate for one of her pregnancies. The storyline enraged Adrienne, and her husband at the time, Dr. Paul Nassif. They didn't want anything involving their children brought up on the show and it became one of the biggest feuds on reality television. Maloof also butted heads with Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda Foster, and Taylor Armstrong.
Star left in 2013
Adrienne Maloof announced her exit from "RHOBH" in March 2013.
She tweeted that it "was time" to move on and that she appreciated the show for giving her a "wonderful platform." There were rumors that Maloof was fired from the show, but a source familiar with the situation claims the 56-year-old wanted to leave because she was tired of being edited as the "mean girl," something that just isn't her.
Will Adrienne clash with anyone?
Are you looking forward to seeing Adrienne Maloof return to "RHOBH"? Will she clash with anyone or have an easy season while the full-time ladies pick sides and choose alliances like last season? She might be on the show as one of the cast members appearing as a guest at a social event or party.
Camille Grammer is typically on the show on a recurring basis to show support in some form as a friend or show up as a guest to someone's event. There isn't much screen time for part-time cast members to stir up drama. It's usually reserved for the full-time stars, however, Kim Richards was on as a friend in season 7 and had quite a lot of drama with Lisa Rinna!
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 8 is set to premiere later this fall on Bravo.
