Donald Trump created more controversy when he attacked the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Carmen Yulin Cruz in a tweet for allegedly "wanting everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort." The POTUS also pointed out Yulin's poor leadership skills. Unfortunately, Trump's harsh words boomeranged because many fired back at him and started to question his own leadership. Most are currently not happy with his service, all the more, with his attitude towards the Puerto Rican leader who is hard at work for her constituents.
Celebrities support Yulin after Trump's mean statements
Mark Harris took to Twitter and shared a photo of Cruz in waist deep water with a megaphone. In the snap, she is reaching the hand of a man in a canoe.
I know there are Trump voters who are not okay with him treating Puerto Rico this way (here's the mayor he's attacking). Please speak up. pic.twitter.com/WPveIsKCdi

The photo speaks volumes of Cruz's effort and service for the Puerto Ricans. In the caption, Harris called out everyone to speak up for the mayor who has been slammed by Trump on Twitter.
A number commended Cruz for showing what true leadership is. According to one user, the mayor is putting her health at risk.
Meanwhile, some believed that Trump's harsh comments were unnecessary because Cruz didn't criticize him, she just responded to the acting director's comment. Unfortunately, Trump's ego couldn't deal with her words.
A number of celebrities, including John Legend, Chris Evans, Lady Gaga and Cher slammed Trump on Twitter for his mean words against Cruz.
Evans called the POTUS narcissistic, defensive and insulting. On the other hand, Legend was being sarcastic by praising Trump for dominating the competition of being the worst president in history. Trump's administration has been bashed for his statements against the Puerto Rican mayor when he knows the country needs support and not criticism.

Donald Trump is skipping Kennedy Center
Donald Trump is aware that he has a lot of critics.
So, he and his wife, Melania Trump, have decided to skip this year's Kennedy Center Honors to give the honorees the time to celebrate without political distractions. Kennedy Center Honors is an annual event that aims to recognize the artists who made contributions in shaping the cultural life in the United States.
A number of awardees have already declined the White House reception invitation that will be held in conjunction with the official presentation of the Kennedy Center Honors. These include dancer-choreographer Carmen de Lavallade and TV producer Norman Lear, to name a few.
