"Buffy The Vampire Slayer" star Nicholas Brendon is back behind bars once again after physically attacking his girlfriend in a drunken rage. TMZ reports that arresting police officers state that Brendon and an unnamed woman thought to be his girlfriend were consuming drinks at a Palm Springs hotel bar on October 12.The woman is said to have gotten up from her seat to leave the bar and return to their hotel room when Nicholas grabbed the female by the arm and forcefully yanked her back into her seat.

The woman, visibly angry stood up from her seat again, enraging Brendon even more.
This is when reports reveal Nicholas grabbed a handful of the woman's hair and pulled her down into her seat once again.Hotel employees stepped in and called the police, who arrived on the scene, arresting Nicholas Brendon for felony domestic violence. This is not the "Buffy and the Vampire"' star first run-in with the law.
Nicholas Brendon, who battles addiction issues has been arrested a number of times over the years. His most recent arrest took place in September of 2015 when he was arrested after getting into a domestic dispute with his girlfriend at the time at a hotel in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., the arrest was Nicholas Brendon's fourth in 2015.

Before the [revious arrest in 2015, Brendon appeared on the Dr. Phil show revealing to him that his illness and addiction to alcohol were a "daily struggle" and he was at the time, "committed to working on them." During the show, Dr. Phil offered Brendon his help, and a 90-day rehab stay for treatment and help with his alcohol addictions.
Nicholas accepted the offer and went to rehab following his appearance for his third attempt at recovery from alcoholism.
Sadly, to date, Nicholas' rehab stents have failed to keep his alcohol addiction demons at bay. Hopefully following this recent arrest Nicholas Brendon will return to a facility that is able to finally help the actor through his addiction and allow him a chance at a successful and fulfilling future life.
Nicholas Brendon, 46, is best known for his role as Xander Harris from 1997-2003 on the hit series "Buffy and the Vampire Slayer" and Kevin Lynch on "Criminal Minds" from 2007-2014. Since leaving television, Brendon has reportedly been writing for the past three years for the "Buffy Season 10" comic book.
Nicholas' most recent film role is in the 2017 movie "Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel" where he appears as himself. The celebrity news site states that they have contacted Nicholas Brendon's reps for comment, but at this time they have failed to respond.
