Lauri Peterson's troubled son, Josh Waring, is back in the headlines. After being accused of attempted murder several months ago, Waring is now in the news for an allegedly violent encounter with his wife, Hannah Jade Kiefer, during which the former Real Housewives of orange county guest star reportedly threatened to stab her.

As Waring continues to appeal his attempted murder trial in Southern California, he is being faced with shocking allegations from his estranged wife, who filed bombshell documents against him in the Orange County Superior Court on September 25.

Ironically, Kiefer was incarcerated at the Orange County Sheriff’s Department for second-degree robbery at the time she filed her divorce papers and on the documents, she listed their date of separation as March 2015. She also cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split and requested that the court restore her name to Hannah Jade Kiefer, as opposed to Hannah Waring, in the court papers, which were obtained by Radar Online on October 10.

Lauri Peterson adopted Josh Waring's daughter years ago

As fans of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" may recall, Lauri Peterson and her husband, George, agreed to adopt her grandchild, four-year-old Kennady Kaydence, years ago due to Waring and his now-estranged wife's ongoing struggles.

So, when it comes to Waring and Kiefer, the parents have no legal rights to their child at all.

According to Radar Online, Kiefer first filed for an annulment or dissolution of her seven-month marriage to Josh Waring in September 2011 and also requested a temporary restraining order against him. At the time, she said, “I’m terrified.

I fear my family, myself, or my belongings will be hurt or destroyed.” She also said that Waring threatened her and her family and had even gotten physical with her and "threatened to stab [her] family.”

Josh Waring was accused of attempted murder in 2016

Last summer, the 28-year-old former reality star was arrested after allegedly shooting a man outside of a sober living home.

The following month, Lauri Peterson's son pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder charges that were ultimately brought against him. Since then, as he remained behind bars, Waring received a felony drug charge after reportedly being found with drugs in his possession while incarcerated.

The Blast was first to confirm the news of Lauri Peterson's son's impending divorce.
