Best known for her role on "Game of Thrones" as Sansa Stark, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, a former member of the Jonas Brothers band and current lead singer of DNCE, shared their engagement with the world via Instagram on Sunday. They each posted the same photo of the two of them holding hands, with the engagement ring in clear view, and tons of fans and other celebrities have commented and congratulated the couple on the wonderful news.

Everyone's jumping on the bandwagon

Jonas' brothers, Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas, have openly congratulated the pair and have shared their enthusiasm to welcome Turner, 21, into the family.

Jonas' parents as well as Kevin's wife, Danielle Jonas, posted to Instagram to rave about the news. Additionally, Demi Lovato, who Jonas, 28, had briefly dated in 2010, also took to social media to extend her congratulations as the two have remained close since their "Camp Rock" days. Other stars who offered their congratulations include Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Turner's "Game of Thrones" co-star Maisie Williams, and Jonas' bandmate, DNCE guitarist, Jinjoo Lee.

Fans react

Both Turner and Jonas' fans are extremely excited about the fact that these two are tying the knot. As a result of Sansa Stark, Turner's character on "Game of Thrones" being forced to marry Tyrion Lannister, and later Ramsey Bolton after she is freed from her engagement to Joffrey Lannister, fans are arguing that Turner finally gets to marry a good guy.

Additionally, fans are gushing about how Turner will finally get to marry her celebrity crush since she, too, was most likely a Jonas Brothers fan in her teenage years.

A breakdown of their relationship over the last year

Turner and Jonas' relationship has been kept on the down low since the two first started seeing each other in the later part of 2016, though the couple spent Halloween and some of Thanksgiving weekend together, and the two were also spotted getting cozy at a Kings of Leon concert in November.

Their relationship became official when Turner posted a photo of her new beau on Instagram to kick off the new year, and within a week, they were seen holding hands and snuggling up to one another at the Golden Globes. Turner also revealed a bit about what it's like dating another famous person in an interview with "Elle" and "Marie Claire." The last big piece of news before their engagement came in September when they adopted a cute little husky.
