Jenelle Evans is saying she's done with "Teen Mom 2" for good. Although the reality star and mother of three has threatened to quit before, she took to Instagram earlier this week to slam MTV for their bad edits and inform fans that she is not planning on returning to the show after its currently airing eighth season.
In an Instagram post to her fans and followers earlier this week, Evans admitted that she and her husband, David Eason, have had their fair share of ups and downs but noted that Monday night's new episode of "Teen Mom 2" was "uncalled for." As she explained, her husband didn't feel like explaining where their argument began.
So, rather than leave the dispute off-camera, MTV allegedly made it look like Eason was hiding something from his wife and hurting her in some way.
Jenelle Evans is calling it quits on filming
"I have decided after this season I’m probably Calling It Quits for filming ['Teen Mom 2']," Jenelle Evans explained to her fans and followers on Instagram. She also told her audience that she informed the producer of the show, Morgan J. Freeman, that things were beginning to be unhealthy for herself and her family.
Evans went on to say that the reality show hurts her and slammed her producers, claiming that they all treat herself and her co-stars, including Leah Messer, Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Briana DeJesus, like they are a part of some sort of freak show.
"WE aren’t human beings to MTV what-so-ever," she said.
What would it take for Jenelle Evans to return to 'Teen Mom 2'?
At the end of her Instagram rant against MTV, Evans said that she would return to the MTV reality series once producers start showing her respect. If not, she continued, she will be happy to move on from "Teen Mom 2" and enjoy the life she is currently sharing with her husband, David Eason, and their kids.
As fans of the franchise will recall, Amber Portwood made similar statements about "Teen Mom OG" at the end of last year. However, while she announced that she was quitting the show at the time, she ultimately decided to return to the series for season six and is expected to continue to appear on the show throughout season 7.
To see more of Jenelle Evans, David Eason, their children, and their co-stars, including Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, Briana DeJesus, and Leah Messer, don't miss new episodes of "Teen Mom 2" season eight, which airs each and every Monday night at 9 pm on MTV.
