Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are officially proud parents to their firstborn son, Gunner Stone. The US Weekly exclusively confirmed the news that their baby boy is their first child after tying the knot eight years back. Their little bundle of joy was born on Sunday, October 1, around 3:06 PM.

He weighed around 6 pounds and measured 19 inches long. The little Gunner reportedly has blonde hair and notably blue eyes. A representative of the couple issued a statement which says, "Heidi and Spencer are proud parents of a healthy baby boy as of this afternoon."

First bundle of joy

A report from US Magazine reported that the couple exclusively announced in April that they were expecting their first bundle of joy together.

Montag told reporters back then that she has never been excited her entire life. "The Hills" alum said, “The reality is sinking in that we are going to have a child!”

Pratt, on the other hand, already revealed that his wife has longed to become a mom. Since the day they first met, Montag has always been opened about her plans of having a child. The couple previously revealed in May that they were expecting a baby boy.

Since the couple announced the pregnancy news in public, Montag has constantly shared about her pregnancy journey on the social media.

First 'Mother's Day'

As the couple gushed about their first bundle of joy early this year, Montag also shared her first "Mother's Day" celebration in May.

On her heart-warming Instagram photo, the young star celebrated her first special day being a mom.

On the caption, she wrote, “So excited to celebrate my first Mother’s Day! #blessed." She also expressed her thanks to all the dedicated moms in the world.

Meanwhile, despite being pregnant, the actress remained committed to staying fit and healthy.

In one of her SnapChat stories, Montag shared her pregnancy routine while she pulled against a resistance band.

Prior to giving birth, the couple reportedly enjoyed their babymoon in Hawaii. The adorable pair also shared a photo to Instagram as they relaxed in the lounge chairs while sipping their pineapple drinks.

Answered prayer

Montag and Pratt's baby was everything they ever prayed for. After the couple tied the knot in 2008, they had been vocal about their plans of having a baby. A report from Hollywood Life confirmed that the couple was really hoping for a son.

Undoubtedly, Gunner Stone is one answered prayer. Perhaps, "The Hills" playdate is about to happen soon between baby Pratt and baby Liam, Lauren Conrad's newborn.
