The two-hour premiere of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" season 14 brought all the feels, but one, in particular, left everyone surprised. If you didn't watch the premiere, let us fill you with the greatest and most surprising moments. After all, at least two new characters are on the show to stir those hibernating emotions that the doctors have long kept inside. As we go through the life-changing episode of the series, remember that this is just the start of the season and things could get more exciting in the future.

Arizona Robbins' huge surprise

Shonda Rhimes did not disappoint when she warned fans to brace themselves for the new season. Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) finally found a new love interest in Andrew DeLuca's (Giacomo Gianniotti) sister Carina. A chance meeting at a bar led to the two women hooking up. Little to Arizona's knowledge, Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) is an OB-Gyn that is doing research at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) agrees to participate in Carina's research requiring her to have an MRI. Her MRI, on the other hand, showed a tumor that the doctor never imagined she had.

When she asked who's brain was on the screen, Andrew and Carina could only look at each other, and that's when Amelia realizes, it's hers. After everything that is going on in her marriage and the arrival of Teddy Altman (Kim Raver), her story arc is one of the most anticipated ones for season 14 of "Grey's Anatomy.."

Megan Hunt puts her trust in Meredith Grey

Nathan Riggs (Martin Henderson) is still in love with Megan Hunt (Abigail Spencer). No matter how much he tries to hide it from Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), the stars align to bring all three together and the moment she saw Riggs proposing to Megan, it took all her strength to remain professional and go through with Megan's surgery. With little time to spare, Meredith forms a team that will take care of Megan's surgery amid her colleagues' hesitations.

Meanwhile, Megan Hunt, despite her recent major surgery, announced that she will be returning to Iraq to get her son. A Syrian refugee that didn't have a family found refuge in Megan is waiting for her. Megan agreed to have Meredith do the surgery because of her knowledge and it would give her the best chance of improving her health to get her son to the United States.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 14, episode 3, will return on Thursday, October 5, 2017, for another mindblowing story that will deal with Amelia's current health condition. Apart from that, fans are in for some "Jolex" madness as the two seem to have rekindled their romance.
