The "Glee" alum Matthew Morrison and his wife, Renee, welcomed their first baby boy on October 12, and the couple named their first bundle of joy, Revel James Makai Morrison. The couple first shared a black and white photo of their son to the social media, in order to celebrate the birth of their firstborn. Morrison shared a photo with the caption, "Your Mama and Papa got this!! Trust in us to guide and protect you always. To lay the tracks so your choo-choo train will run smoothly throughout this world."
On the other hand, Renee, the new mom, also took to Instagram and shared a new photo of her son.
The photo featured their adorable son resting on his dad's arm. Renee added that she cannot express the happiness and gratitude for being chosen his mother.
New mother
In a report from Entertainment Tonight, it revealed how Morrison and his wife have been grateful for the arrival of their first son. Meanwhile, Renee added that she's going to comfort her child, to guide and protect him always.
The proud mother also gushed that Revel looked more like his dad than her. It seemed that their little boy would be following his dad's footsteps regarding music. Back in May, the couple first shared the pregnancy news to their fans and followers. It was also in June when they shared their babymoon pictures together.
As of now, the "Glee" star is reportedly enjoying his time with his wife and his newborn son.
The thought of becoming a father
During his previous interviews, Morrison revealed that he had always thought of becoming a father. He never really expected that the day has finally come. To recall, the couple Morrison and Renee tied the knot back in 2014.
Since then, the couple had been focused on their plans of becoming parents. In a report from E! News, the former Broadway star revealed that he saw lots of expecting fathers who didn't know about their roles.
He added that most of them were scared and timid of having a child. Nevertheless, he ended his statement that fatherhood doesn't sound like that for him.
Morrison also shared that at some point, he would be nervous, and his hands would get sweaty, but whenever he gets into his performance, he would have a clear mind. Back in October, the couple had been sharing about Renee's pregnancy journey. Morrison shared the first baby bump photo to the followers, and it left them all excited about their first baby. Following the news about their first born, the couple received well wishes from their fans and followers.
