The remaining couples in “Dancing With The Stars” battled it out for another round of various routines in an episode dubbed as “Disney Night.” Gleb Savchenko and “Pretty Little Liars” star Sasha Pieterse failed to make it through the next round, Glamour reported.

The two were eliminated in the recent episode after getting one of the lowest scores among their competitors. After dancing the rumba to Samuel Wright’s “Kiss The Girl,” the judges gave them 24 points. Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson were also called to the bottom two after receiving 29 points from the judging panel.

Savchenko showcased his movements through his portrayal of Prince Eric, as he paid tribute to the hit Disney classic, “The Little Mermaid.” He wore a glamorous white long-sleeve polo and a pair of blue trousers that both resembled Ariel’s leading man.

The stage design was set as a boat ride just like the scene where the song was performed in the movie. His partner Sasha may not have sported the mermaid outfit, but her dress had glitters on its skirt and she wore a wig that was dyed red.

Gleb is a 34-year-old Russian professional dancer and choreographer. He has made appearances in various international versions of “Dancing With The Stars.” These include franchises in the United States, Australia, and in his home country, Russia.

He has always been eliminated early except when he competed in the 23rd season of the United States franchise which earned him a fourth-place finish.

Pieterse’s reaction

For many of the fans, this week’s elimination was “shocking.” However, the “Pretty Little Liars” actress openly accepted the decision. She said that she is “not mad” and is thankful for the opportunity, ET Online reported.

She is “particularly grateful” for having Savchenko who she has “become fast friends with over the course of the season.” Pieterse even added that he is bound to also teach her fiance some dancing lessons.

Meanwhile, the Russian dancer shared his thoughts about the elimination. He said he “never thought it would happen,” adding that he expected they have got more weeks to stay and compete.
