The recent episode of “Dancing With The Stars” for Season 25 featured some of the well-loved classics from Walt Disney, Goldderby reported. The iconic characters of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse made an appearance on stage.

During the opening number, the celebrities and the dance pros moved to the beat of a remix version of “It’s A Small World.” The opening performance started with a lyrical movement from two dancers until the other performers entered the stage in their glittering ensembles.

Victoria Arlen and Valentin Chmerkovskiy took inspiration from the vintage production of “Steamboat Willie,” while Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy portrayed “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Meanwhile, Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson offered their rendition of “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

The stage was turned into a platform with the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head.

The audience also joined the spectacle by wearing Mickey Mouse ears that beamed some light effects.

The Walt Disney Company and ABC network have been closely associated with one another. ABC, Inc. is the name of the subsidiary holdings company that manages the branded properties of the network and of Disney as well.

Gleb Savchenko is Prince Eric

“Pretty Little Liars” star Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko combined the Cuban dance rumba and the 1980s Disney hit, “The Little Mermaid.” Despite the cultural connotation of the movie, they were able to showcase the Cuban dance movements in their performance with Pieterse wearing a high-slit dress and red-colored wig inspired by Ariel.

Meanwhile, Savchenko remained poised as Prince Eric while they danced to the beat of “Kiss The Girl” by Samuel Wright.

It was the song played during the boat ride scene in the animated movie.

The mascots of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were seen as part of the audience and cheered for them after their performance. The couple received 24 points from the judges and were eliminated during the episode.

Frankie Muniz is Captain Jack Sparrow

Frankie Muniz and his partner Witney Carson performed the Argentine tango featuring the music of Rodrigo y Gabriela which is titled “Angelica.” The routine featured Muniz dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow, the character portrayed by Johnny Depp in the live-action movie.

The choreography was very intricate with a lot of knee bending movements and backbends from the dance pro. The entire routine felt like it was a scene taken from the movie with the musical score playing in the background.

Despite this, there was another couple that earned a higher score from the judges that night. A perfect score was given to Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold for their foxtrot performance featuring the movie “Moana.” Fisher himself is a Disney artist and has become part of the soundtrack of the animated movie they performed.
