Fans met Newt Scamander from “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” back in 2016. One of the main reasons why the show was such a major hit was because it carried the grand “Harry Potter” tag along with it, a report by Screen Rant states. The audience was clearly delighted over the fact that the movie received another installment. The second film is scheduled to release next month.

The official image for “Fantastic Beasts” next movie was posted online on Wednesday, October 18. True Harry Potter fans can properly decipher the teaser image.
The image consists of an ornate book, with a lock and key lying beside it. The lock is open, and it features the initials, “N.F.” branded on top. According to Cinema Blend, the initials have been assumed to stand for Nicolas Flamel. The image is accompanied by a caption that reads, “The only known maker of the Philosopher’s Stone. What other mysteries may be locked away?” For those who don’t know, Harry Potter books have made multiple references to this.
The American version of the novel mentions Nicolas Flamel (described as an alchemist) as being the true creator of the Philosopher’s Stone. This stone came to be known as the Sorcerer’s Stone. It apparently had the ability to turn metal into gold.
Another one of its function was to create Elixir of Life, which gives life to the dead. Flamel created the stone to extend his and his wife’s (Perenelle) life. They went on to live for over six centuries. In the Harry Potter movies, Lord Voldemort is seen trying to steal the Sorcerer’s Stone on many occasions. But he was clearly unsuccessful at it, mostly due to none other than Harry Potter himself.
Characters
According to Pottermore, the teaser image is believed to be an indication that Nicolas Flamel’s character will be included in “Fantastic Beasts 2.” The character will be played by actor, Brontis Jodorowsky – who is known for his work in Mexican film productions. Flamel is over six hundred years old and has a wealth of knowledge.
He is expected to reveal major secrets surrounding Harry Potter too. Newer characters set to appear in the movie include Zoe Kravitz (Leta Lestrange), Jude Law (Albus Dumbledore), Callum Turner (Theseus Scamander). Older characters including Eddie Redmayne (Newt Scamander), Ezra Miller (Creedence Barebone), Johnny Depp (Gellert Grindelwald), Katherine Waterston (Tina Goldstein), Alison Sudol (Queenie Goldstein), and Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) will be returning.
