Monday night's episode of "Dancing with the Stars" was the "Most Memorable Year" theme night. It was a very emotional time for the dancers and viewers. Almost every one of the performances brought tears to the eyes of the those in the ballroom. While listening to Jordan Fisher's story, one couldn't help but remember that his story was exactly like gymnast Simone Biles' story that she related last April during Season 24.

Jordan Fisher's story

Fisher, the 23-year-old singer, dancer, and actor's most memorable year was 2005, when his maternal grandparents legally adopted him and his two siblings.

His biological mother gave birth to him when she was only 16. She struggled with substance abuse and could not take care of her children.

Jordan performed a contemporary dance in honor of his grandparents who are now his parents. They were in the audience to cheer him on. Jordan and Lindsay Arnold received two 10's, the first ones of the season. Their total score was 29 out of 30, the highest of the night, which put them at the top of the leaderboard. Jordan and Lindsay are the ones to watch this season. It is too soon to predict who the winners will be, but it seems like Jordan and Lindsay will go far in the competition.

Simone Biles' story

Simone Biles was adopted by her maternal grandfather in 2000 when she was three years old.

Her birth mother had a drug and alcohol addiction and was unable to take care of her children who were in and out of foster care. Simone's grandfather and his second wife adopted the two youngest children, Simone and her sister Adria. Simone's aunt adopted the two older children. The gymnast's father, who is really her grandfather, has supported her throughout her career.

He and his wife were present at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and cheered the gymnast on as she won more medals.

After watching her video on "Dancing With The Stars" last season, the gold medalist gymnast began crying before she performed a Viennese Waltz with pro partner Sasha Farber. During her season, there were four judges and the 20-year-old athlete received a score of 36 out of 40.

It was the best score of the season just like Jordan's score.

Simone did not win the championship on the ABC dance competition show, but she has a combined total of nineteen Olympic and World Championship medals, and she is the most decorated American gymnast. She recently reported that she has her first boyfriend.

Viewers noticed the comparison, but they wonder if Simone and Jordan know about each other's story since they are very similar.
