"Dancing with the Stars" had a lot of tears from the very beginning of the show to the end of Monday's "Most Memorable Year" theme night. It was very emotional for all of the 11 remaining celebrities who told their stories through their words and performances.

Scores 22-24

Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd received a score of 22, the lowest score of the night. They performed a contemporary dance after Nick said 2011 was his most memorable year when he married Vanessa. Having a family is the most important thing to him.

Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess performed a jazz after Derek said 2007 was his most important year when his 10-month-old daughter, Tatum, was diagnosed with eye cancer and they had to choose to save her eye with an experimental surgery instead of removing it.

He walked away from a $20 million NBA contract to care for her. Today 11-year-old Tatum has 50 percent vision in her left eye. She and her twin brother, Drew, were in the audience to see their father dance and get a score of 23.

Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson kicked off the night with a quickstep. Muniz's most memorable year is this year. He recounted many health issues, including having nine concussions and memory loss as a professional race car driver. He doesn't remember starring on "Malcolm in the Middle." He dances through a lot of pain on the show. He and Witney received a score of 24.

Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke danced the Viennese Waltz after Terrell shared that 2012 was the year his grandmother who raised him died.

She had dementia for the last 16 years of her life. Terrell and Cheryl received a score of 24.

Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev performed a contemporary dance. Nikki recounted that 2016 was an important year for her after she recovered from a neck injury that almost ended her life. It took her seven months to get back into the wrestling ring.

The judges gave this couple a score of 24.

Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko performed a foxtrot, and Sasha shared that 2016 was the year her husband proposed to her. She and Gleb received a score of 24. They were not eliminated as predicted. Therefore, they get the chance to dance again next week.

Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy danced the rumba to Vanessa's husband's song.

She shared that 2017 was her best year. Her third child was born 10 weeks premature. Her family is very important to her because she was abandoned by her mother at age 8. The judges rewarded the couple with a score of 24.

Drew Scott and Emma Slater danced a jive after Drew shared that in 2007 he and his twin brother became the "Property Brothers." He considered becoming an actor, but it didn't work out so he settled for reality TV. Drew's twin brother Jonathan joined them during the last portion of the dance that helped the couple get a score of 24.

Scores 26-29

Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas performed the Viennese Waltz after Lindsey shared that her father died last year. He was her hero and inspiration who always wore a hat and a scarf that Mark wore during their dance routine.

The couple received a score of 26.

Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy danced the foxtrot after Victoria told about being in the wheelchair for ten years. She learned to walk again last year. She started out her dance while sitting in a wheelchair and received a score of 27.

Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold performed a contemporary dance after Jordan shared that his grandparents adopted him and his two siblings in 2005. His biological mother was a drug addict. His grandparents, who are now his parents, were in the audience. Jordan and Lindsay received two 10's, the first ones of the season. Their score was 29, the highest of the night.

Elimination

Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd were in jeopardy for the second time this season.

This doesn't usually happen for Peta who is a two-time champion. On Season 22, she won with deaf model Nyle DiMarco. This season, she and Nick haven't been able to find the right groove.

Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess were also in jeopardy. They were the ones eliminated during the fourth week of competition.
