"Dancing With the Stars" airs its "Most Memorable Year" episode on Monday, October 9, 2017. That is usually one of the most emotional nights when celebrities talk about and perform a dance representing a year that was important in their lives. Unfortunately, it will be the last dance for one couple who will be eliminated.
There was no elimination last week during the "Guilty Pleasure" show, so everyone got the chance to dance without the thought of being eliminated. However, it will not be the case this week. A couple will be eliminated, and it will be anybody's guess who it will be.
Top of leaderboard
Two couples are enjoying being at the top of the leaderboard. Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas and Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold have received high scores from the judges for the last couple of weeks. Therefore, they might be safe. Despite having their highest scores during Latin Night in Week 2, Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson's score went down after their last Samba. The couples who received their highest scores last week included Drew Scott and Emma Slater, Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke, and Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd.
Vanessa and Maks
Vanessa Lachey and her replacement partner, Alan Bursten, did not get a score as high as Vanessa has been getting with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who was absent from the ballroom dance floor last week.
He is expected to return on Monday night after a rumor that he and Vanessa weren't getting along.
Both of them spoke out and said things are back to normal. The drama was not revealed until after voting had closed last week. So, viewers' votes were not affected by the rumor. Up to now, Vanessa has been getting higher scores than her husband, Nick, who is partnered with Maks' wife, Peta.
That couple did end up in jeopardy the second week when Debbie Gibson and Alan Bursten were eliminated.
Elimination prediction
Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko might be eliminated and Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev might be in jeopardy based on the judges' scores and remarks. It would be disappointing to see either couple eliminated, but somebody has to go.
The good news is that it will be at the end of the show after they have shared information about their most memorable year.
Watch the fourth episode of Season 25 of "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC on Monday at 8 PM to hear the emotional stories of the remaining celebrities and to find out which couple will be eliminated.
