Ayesha Curry, the wife of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, said she has been approached more than once by producers of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" to appear on the ballroom dance floor. So far, she has not said that she would appear on the show. Curry told Entertainment Tonight that she is afraid because she has two left feet. However, she is leaving her options open.
It was strange to hear her say that because she frequently posts videos on social media of her dancing. Perhaps she will eventually accept the invitation and let all of America see her on the biggest dance floor.
The basketball player's wife indicated that she is not the one in the family who can dance even though she is the one of the show's short list. She and her mother-in-law are pushing her husband of six years to be on the show. They both agree that he would be a really good contestant.
About Ayesha Curry
Whether Ayesha ever joins "Dancing with the Stars" or not, she is quite busy and will continue to have a lot to do.
The 28-year-old wife and mother of two young daughters hosted six episodes of "Ayesha Homemade" and is currently hosting "Ayesha's Home Kitchen" on the Food Network. Her husband and their children often appear with her. Therefore, they make it a family affair. Even though she had no professional chef training, she published "The Seasoned Life" cookbook last year.
Ayesha and Stephen met in a youth group at church when they were 14 and 15 years old. They were childhood sweethearts before they married in 2011.Their oldest daughter, Riley Elizabeth, was born in July 2012 and their youngest daughter, Ryan Carson, was born in July 2015.
The best-selling cookbook author is one busy lady. She recently launched The Ayesha Curry Kitchenware Collection.
She is proud of having designed the line on her own, but she did get inspiration from family members. For example, her mother-in-law inspired her to include a bacon grease jar with a lid.
The Currys' charities
While America might be waiting to see either Ayesha or Stephen Curry on the dance floor, they have their main careers as well as their charities to keep them busy. Ayesha is a well-known advocate of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry with a goal to end child hunger in the United States. Stephen's charitable donations go to the United Nations Foundation to help end malaria.
